What “100% Glitchless” means

On speedrun.com, Chrono Trigger’s PC (Glitchless) runs are timed from confirming Crono’s name until the Lavos Core dies, on the first frame of the core turning red.

“100%” means finishing every quest the Guru of Time gives: Revive Crono, Greendream, Wondershot, Masamune II, Mother Brain, Yakra XIII, Ozzie’s Fort and the Black Omen. The guide walks through all of them in route order.

Follow along with the community notes linked above while you watch, and see the Chrono Trigger leaderboards for the full rules.

Mud Imp

Parody of Britney Spears' Toxic

One of the bosses that can really ruin a speedrun in Chrono Trigger 100% Glitchless is Mud Imp. I've run into the issues several times now and it inspired me to write a song about it lol.

The Save Game Song

Parody of Michael Bolton's How am I supposed to...

In May of 2023, I got a PB on my Chrono Trigger Speedrun. The next morning I opened CT and all of my save games were gone. All of my endings cleared. Even my controller settings were gone. I was pretty devestated.

New PB

Parody of Dua Lipa's New Rules

It's not music video season but I cranked this one out because I've recently started learning how to speedrun Chrono trigger (and Chrono Cross).
